Kirke Martin
Kirke draws his inspiration primarily from nature. He aims to create pieces that retain the material’s inherent qualities and reflect expression and spontaneity. Currently he designs and produces functional and sculptural works in clay through the wheel-throwing, pinching, hand building and extruding methods. Depending on the series or project Kirke will also use wood, metal, burlap or other materials to complete the work of art. He also designs and builds wood burning kilns.
