Fun with the Shopping Cart
I've learned to do a couple of neat things with the shopping cart. One of them is to set up a voucher. Vouchers are different from the automatic discounts that kick in at a certain price point or just because I say so. Vouchers require customer input. It's like a secret code you have to know to get the discount. You'll know you have the correct voucher code if you see the additional discount show up when you click the Recalculate button.
So, I've set up two vouchers. But you'll have to come up with the answer.
I'll give you a couple of clues.
Voucher Number One Clue.
I recently had a cold. My nose was congested and I was having a lot of trouble breathing. Coughing... tight chest. Pretty standard stuff.
What was different this time was that I found a new use for one of my favorite pots that really made a difference to my breathing problems:

I told my sister about the new use, and she dared me to talk about it in a newsletter. I told her I didn't think I had the guts. She told me she knew I did. I decided to take up her dare (how could I walk away from a challenge like that?), but figure out a way to sort of do it on the sly.
If you are a loyal view of Oprah, especially when she has Dr. Oz on, you should have no trouble with this one.
So. What is the official name for the thing that I didn't have to go out and buy because I had this personal teapot and it worked for that other purpose just fine? (got that?) Type that name (two words) into the voucher box of the shopping cart, and receive an additional $10 off your purchase.
Voucher Number Two Clue
Last Sunday, February 3, 2008, was a very special day in our family.
Whose birthday was it?
Type the first name of the birthday boy into the voucher box, and receive an additional $10 off your purchase. (If you don't remember, you can noodle around the website and find the answer to this one).
Time for a VayCay
I don't get out much. Next week, I'm getting out. And that means there's an added incentive for you to shop online, because the gallery will be closed Saturday, February 9 through Monday, February 18. These vouchers are in effect now, and will remain until I return on Tuesday, February 19.
In addition to the vouchers (and you can only use one of them), the shopping cart is once again set for a 20% discount on purchases over $50, in addition to free shipping.
I'll tend to the orders as soon as possible when I get back to the gallery on the 19th.
Please. Bury me. Don't make me feel guilty for taking a vacay. :)
